NEW 2025/26
La Ciampinoi slope

La Ciampinoi is a legendary run reborn.

Originally the venue for the Giant Slalom races during the 1970 World Ski Championships, it is now making a spectacular comeback as the host slope for both the Giant Slalom and Slalom events at the 2031 Fis Alpine World Ski Championships.

Recently redesigned and modernized, La Ciampinoi is a steep, technically demanding black run that winds through forested terrain with stunning views of the Dolomites. Known for its challenging gradient, sharp turns, and historical significance, this slope is a favourite among expert skiers.

Lift & slopes

Sellaronda and much more

The lifts and slopes of Ciampinoi are linked to the famous Sellaronda ski circuit, which allows the skier to ski all four valleys surrounding the spectacular Sella Group.

The Ciampinoi slopes are among the most famous and popular in the entire Val Gardena. This is particularly true of black run number 3, which in 1970 hosted the women's and men's giant slalom World Championship. This run starts at the upper level station of the Ciampinoi cable car (located on the sunny side of the Saslong slope), and descends east of Ciampinoi taking you over several steep mountains and through forested areas until reaching Selva.

From Ciampinoi you can also reach the sunny slopes of "Col Raiser" and Seceda in the neighboring municipality of Santa Cristina. From there you can get to Ortisei.
