In winter the ski runs, which have been known since the late 1930s and hosted the 1970 Alpine Skiing World Championships, offer fantastic descents towards Selva Gardena, Santa Cristina and Plan de Gralba.

Every December, the World Cup Downhill race takes place along the Saslong slope, starting right by the Ciampinoi cable car station.
